Oak Island PitOak Island Pit is one of the most curious human-caused mysteries of the past 300 years, located on a tiny island (Oak Island) off the coast of Nova Scotia in eastern Canada. This place is informally known as the “Money Pit,” an incredibly deep hole of incredibly elaborate construction discovered in 1795. On that year, three young men, Daniel McGinnis, Anthony Vaughan and John Smith, stumbled upon a round depression in the ground. They dug down 30 feet before stopping. Every 10 feet they found a wood slat platform. As men, they continued the journey to no avail.

Stone Tablet
Over 200 years of excavation have unearthed no treasure thus far, but what has been discovered by treasure hunting company is arguably just as fascinating. Underneath the surface of the pit are a series of wooden platforms, and even deeper, flooding mechanisms formed from multiple underground canals leading to water. The first time someone managed to dig deep enough, the entire pit was immediately flooded, and due to the construction of the mechanism, it would fill back up with water as fast as you could remove it. At the 90-foot mark, an inscribed, encoded stone tablet was found that was revealed to say "Forty Feet Below Two Million Pounds Are Buried".
In search for whatever the island is hiding, the money pit has attracted the attention of hundreds of search parties, including former president Franklin D. Roosevelt, who in his youth spent a summer with fellow Harvard grads in search of the treasure. Millions of dollars have been spent to find the mystery at the bottom of the pit. Six men have died trying to get to a treasure that may or not be there. Still in 2010, no one has been able to get to the bottom, but it is said the owners of the island are waiting for a permit to start digging again.

Lemuria the Lost Continent
Lemuria is the name of a hypothetical lost continent in the Southern Pacific, between North America, Asia and Australia. Lemuria is also sometimes referred to as Mu, or the Motherland of Mu. At its peak of their civilization, the Lemurian people were highly evolved and very spiritual.

While concrete physical evidence of this ancient continent may be difficult to find, many people know that they have a strong connection to Lemuria. Many have gone in quest of this mythological continent. The exact location of Lemuria varies from different researchers and authors. It is considered part of the mysteries of the Pacific region into the American continent, much the same as Atlantis is linked to the Atlantic land areas that stretch to the Mediterranean Sea.

Loacation of the Lemuria

The location of Lemuria is linked with the ‘Ring of Fire', an area that became active with a Tsunami on December 26, 2004.
Powerful earthquakes and volcanoes continue after years of being dormant. It would appear that Lemuria is once again speaking to us with warning signs.
Edgar Cayce called Lemuria Zu or Oz and is also referred to by others as Pacifica and Mu.
The fate of Lemuria is not unlike the proposed fate of Atlantis. It is much like the destiny of humanity foreseen by prophets of ancient times and modern day clairvoyants.

Easter Island Statues
Many people believe that Easter Island was part of Lemuria. It has hundreds of colossal stone statues and written language that point to an advanced culture, which appeared on the world's most remote spot. The legend of Easter Island speaks of Hiva which sank beneath the waves as people fled. Polynesians have handed down the story of a civilization in the Pacific that was motherland of mankind (Mu) for thousands of years.
The name Lemuria resulted from a 19th century controversy over Charles Darwin's Origin of the Species. Defenders of Darwin had trouble explaining how certain species became distributed over large areas. The Lemur, which zoologists have had a hard time explaining their distribution, are small primitive forms of primates found in Africa, Madagascar, India, and the East Indian archipelago.
Some zoologists suggest a land mass in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and India, millions of years ago. An English zoologist, Phillip L. Schlater, proposed the name Lemuria (LEMURia) for this former land of the Lemurs in the Indian Ocean.

Some place Lemurians at roughly 75,000 to 20,000 B.C. while others speculate that Atlantis and Lemuria co-existed for thousands of years. It is speculated that the survivors of Lemuria relocated to Mount Shasta, California. Mount Shasta can be considered one of the most sacred places on this planet. It is a mystic power source for the planet; this sacred mountain is the incarnation of the Great Central Sun of this universe. It is the focus of angels, spirit-guides, spaceships, masters from the light realm, and the home of the ancient survivors of Lemuria.

Margaret Schilling, Athens OhioMargaret Schilling was a patient at the Athens Insane Asylum, simply known as the Athens Mental Health and Retardation Center in Ohio. On Dec.1, 1978, Margaret Schilling disappeared from one of the active wards. On Jan.12, 1979, 42 days later, they found her lifeless body in the abandoned top floor of ward N. 20. The ward at the time, abandoned and closed down for years, was used for sick, infectious patients. A search was done when the women went missing, but apparently the only floor not checked was ward N. 20.

Stain on the FloorA maintenance man found her body, lifeless, cold, and unclothed; she had been dead for several weeks. The official cause of death was heart failure, but why still remains a mystery. A stain in the shape of a human figure can still be seen on the floor where she died. It is said that her spirit can be seen peering from the window of the room in which she spent her final moments.
Margaret Schilling StainPeople have also said to hear disembodied female voices, lights, shadow people and the sound of squeaking gurneys.
Those who still worked in Athens Lunatic Asylum, say that they can still sense her presence. They see her walking around the halls sometimes. Some reported seeing random scrawls appear on the wall, one of which contained the message "I was never crazy."
